Eligibility

This contest is open to legal residents of the United States of America who are at least 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of SnowRunners LTD are not eligible to participate.

 

Contest Period

The contest begins on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 7 am CST and ends on Wednesday, April 15 2026 at 6:00 pm CST. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.

 

How to Enter

Participants may enter the contest by submitting a comment noting their favorite Moonlight Meltdown race length on the original Moonlight Meltdown Facebook page Giveaway Post from 4/9/26. Entrants also must follow the Moonlight Meltdown page on Facebook. Only one race length comment allowed per person, but entrants may get a bonus entry by tagging a friend in the comments.

 

Winner Selection & Notification

One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The winner will be notified via social media within two (2) days. If the winner does not respond within 3 days, an alternate winner may be chosen.

 

Prize(s)

The winner will receive one complimentary entry to the 2026 Moonlight Meltdown on the course of their choice (5K, 10K or Half Marathon). The prize may not be substituted for cash or other items unless specified by the sponsor.

 

Publicity Release

By entering, participants grant the Moonlight Meltdown and Snowrunners LTD permission to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

 

General Conditions

Snowrunners LTD and the Moonlight Meltdown reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.

 

Liability Release

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Moonlight Meltdown race,  Snowrunners LTD and any sponsors and volunteers from any liability related to participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize.

 

Governing Law

This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations of The State of Wisconsin. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of law.
